Aus dem kleinen Städtchen Earlestown im nordwestlichen England stammen Jamie Boyle (Gesang, Gitarre), Ryan Breslin (Gitarre), Dexter Baker (Bass) und Nathan Peers, der mittlerweile dritte Schlagzeuger der Band.
Tathergang:
Zum Plattenkauf mussten die Jungs wohl von Earlestown nach St Helens fahren und dort bei Kaleidoscope Records einkehren, um sich dann mit Musik von The Clash, The Jam oder The Libertines einzudecken. Warum also nicht gleich nach diesen Vorbildern eine Band gründen und sich The Kaleidoscopes nennen?
Noch vor der Veröffentlichung ihres ersten Albums „I Wonder If The World Knows?“ (2024), das Platz 3 in den UK Charts erreichen konnte, ließ das Quartett einen Großteil seines Namens wieder fallen.
Nur 17 Monate nach dem Debüt erscheint mit „Pretty On The Internet“ der von Jim Lowe (Stereophonics, The Dandy Warhols, The Charlatans) produzierte Nachfolger als CD, Kassette und LP (Berry With Black Splatter Vinyl, Lime With Black Splatter Vinyl, Clear with Coloured Splatter Vinyl, Black Vinyl, Clear With Magenta Liquid Fill Vinyl, Pink Vinyl, Zoetrope Vinyl).

The K’s könnten auch gut The H’s heißen, denn nur durch Hummeln in der Hose ist dieser hyperaktive Hochgeschwindigkeitsindierock zu erklären.
